Tap Camp for Kids!
At Tap Camp kids spend a full day with us learning tap dance! They’ll also get a taste of other styles of dance (such as jazz, body percussion, or "Hands Down" tap. We'll explore historical tap dancers through books and video, and do fun tap crafts too! We'll take a field trip mid-week, and host casual performances for the kids to show off what they've been working on at the end of the season!

Deadline for pre-registration: May 1st!For young dancers age 8-12 with prior tap experience (3-5 years) Dancers explore tap dance on a deeper level, build tap technique, and put together a performance for a presentation at the end of the week. Arts and crafts every day, exploration of tap history and culture, and several master classes in unique percussive styles. Field trip mid-week.

Dancers explore tap dance, learn basic tap technique, and put together a performance for a casual show at the end of the week. Arts and crafts every day, exploration of tap history and culture, and several master classes in unique percussive styles. Field trip mid-week. Tap shoes provided if needed!

May 1st!For young dancers age 12-16 with intermediate level tap experience.
Audition placement video required, email shebach@tapdancecentral for details.
Dancers will build tap technique and work on creating choreography to present at the end of the session. Dancers will explore tap icons in the field today, and discuss how the styles of these dancers contribute to moving the art form forward. Additional Master Classes and Field trip mid week
