If you purchase the Joe Stirling workshop, you must attend both days of the workshop (this workshop is NOT a masterclass option).

Bril Barrett

This masterclass is best fit for folks dancing at levels 5-7 (adv. beg., slow int., and intermediate).
Learn Bril's inimitable style and rhythm, straight Chicago and Madd Rhythms. Bril is an honoree receiving the Hoofer Award for 2024!

This masterclass is best fit for folks dancing at levels 4-5 (fast beg. and adv. beg.) Straight from Belgium, Josh will share his one-of-a-kind musicality and technique!
Germaine Goodson

This class is best fit for dancers at lvl 3-4 (beg. and fast beg.)
Dive deep into technique with a focus on adapting quickly to changing direction, rhythm, and weight from foot to foot; keeping your sounds light, bright, and articulate; mastering grab-offs; and starting and stopping on the same foot. Germaine is receiving the Hoofer award for 2025!

Kurt Albert & Klaus Bleis

This class is best fit for dancers at lvl 5 (adv. beg.) and higher.
Kurt Albert and Klaus Bleis will teach original rhythms and phrases from their mentor, tap master Carnell Lyons. Carnell’s unique dance style is characterized by its extraordinary authenticity and originality (Kansas City style). Carnell Lyons, claimed to have invented the tap style of “Paddle & Roll” by copying “The Baby” and exchanging rhythms with Max Roach.

Presentation Celebrating Carnell Lyons

Kurt and Klaus will present the life and career of tap and show business legend Carnell Lyons, who was born in 1917 in Kansas City, grew up with Charlie Parker, and became famous with his group “The Businessmen of Rhythm” in Chicago’s legendary mafia club “Club DeLisa.” Settling in New York City in the 1940s, he performed with the trio “Jesse, James & Cornell” at the Apollo Theater, Radio City Music Hall, and Las Vegas with stars like Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and Josephine Baker. Carnell Lyons died in Berlin, Germany, in 1992.​​
