Everything's Copasetic
Mini Workshop Weekend
Saturday February 15th & Sunday February 16th
We're kicking off our new initiative, "Copasetic Community Projects" with a weekend celebrating The Copasetics! We're taking a deeper dive into who The Copasetics were, why they formed a club, and what was all that about?
While we're diving into their history, we have the chance to learn with some tap masters of today that actually learned from and were mentored by Copasetic members Cookie Cook, Honi Coles, Buster Brown and Bubba Gaines!
YOU can learn some rhythms, steps and style from these great dancers, as passed down by Brenda Bufalino, Jane Goldberg, Michela Marino Lerman, Deborah Mitchell, Margaret Morrison, Hank Smith, Tony Waag & more!
This workshop is organized to accommodate and offer learning opportunities for every level of student. You can participate by taking a single class or multiple classes, or just attend a tap talk. This is serving as an educational event and a small fundraiser.
If you have questions, please reach out to us, we're happy to help: info@tapdancecentral.org
